Vikal Golden Odyssey Limousine

The 11.5m Golden Odyssey Limousine was the result of a close design collaboration between Martin Francis and Vikal International.

The brief from the client was for a minimalist Limousine that would pay homage to the design of the mothership. It’s styling inside and out was to reflect contemporary European minimalism, whilst also being focused on practical solutions.

It was to have a fully enclosed quiet cabin space with maximum glass coverage to allow ample amounts of light into the interior. Fast and quiet yet packed with cutting edge technology, this is a formidable yet safe and comfortable Limousine for both the Owner and guests.

The Limousine was built to be capable of docking in places not designed for Superyacht Tenders, we designed and custom made a substantial but streamlined fender, built in serviceable and easily removable sections. With long range fuel tanks, air conditioning and a leather interior, guests can travel in comfort at speeds in excess of 40 knots

This Limousine displays classic simplicity with clarity of purpose. It brims with technology that is almost entirely out of sight. Its timeless elegance will not be compromised by dated visible equipment in years to come.

Pursuing simplicity is anything but simple. A discipline in material selection was exercised with great care. The interior exudes the good taste that can be expressed with careful discipline and the elimination of what is not necessary. The Golden Odyssey interior is an essay in how to achieve classical simplicity with the fewest of finishes.
